VBS 2024: Around the World
June 3-7, 2024
VBS will be June 3-June 7th from 9:00 am to noon daily.
The cost of VBS is $25/person or $60/family (immediate family members only).
Our VBS experience is geared towards children 4 years old - 6th grade. Your preschooler must be 4 by the start of VBS.
Help Needed for VBS
Pray: Thank God for this outreach and all the love and kindness felt during this week. Ask God to build new friendships and make our relationship with God grow. Pray for all the laughter and energy that everyone brings to VBS. Pray for the volunteers, kids, and their parents that they learn to shine Jesus's light.
Amazon Wishlist: We have a VBS Amazon wishlist for supplies that we need for the week serving 400 kids and over 100 volunteers, Follow the link below to the wishlist and purchase any of the items on the list or bring in an Amazon gift card to the office. Amazon Wishlist (coming soon)
Baked Goods: We have the best volunteers and want to provide snacks for them during VBS week. We are looking for people to bake regular-sized muffins (cinnamon, blueberry, or banana), cookies, and brownies (no frosting please.) Please drop off baked goods on Sunday, June 2 from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Don't have time to bake, grab a Costco gift card and drop it by the office marked for VBS.

Vacation Bible School FAQs
Is there a discount for more than one child?
Yes. If you have 3 or more children the cost is $60. PLEASE NOTE: This discount only applies to 3 or more children from the same, immediate family. This discount is not intended for daycares, friends and cousins, etc.
Are the children put into age groups?
Yes. We will be placing the children into groups based on their age/class group.
Can my child be put into the same group as his/her friend?
Due to the large number of children and the work entailed in putting them into groups, we do not guarantee friendship placements. We will also not be able to switch your child’s group once it is assigned. We believe our program lends itself to the children meeting new friends.
Will there be food served?
Yes, we will have a daily snack. Please list all allergies your child may have when you register him/her. Please make sure they eat breakfast before they come.
Will there be t-shirts?
Yes. Each child and volunteer will receive a t-shirt. PLEASE NOTE: T-shirts will only be guaranteed for those who are registered by Sunday, May 5, 2024.
When will registration close?
In order to make sure we can be as organized as possible and have the right amount of volunteers, we will close registration on Sunday, May 5, 2024 or whenever we reach 400 children (whichever comes first).
The program hours do not work for my schedule. What can I do?
Zionsville UMC has a wonderful, all-day, summer program called ROCK. The kids attending ROCK, attend VBS from 9:00 am – Noon and then carry on with their day. There are separate fees for attending ROCK, however, the VBS fee is waived. Find more information about ROCK through the ROCK Website: rockzumc.org
Is there a way for parents or older children to be involved?
Of course! We need a host of volunteers for the week of the event, including setup and teardown days. Volunteering begins in 7th grade. Also, if you serve 3+ days, your child’s fee is only $10 for the week. Your volunteer form must be submitted to receive the discount. PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible for the discount, the volunteer MUST be an ADULT.
Is childcare available if I’m serving?
Yes, we will have free childcare for the children (Ages 3 and under) of volunteers on the days the volunteers serve. PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible for childcare, the volunteer MUST be an ADULT.
Will I be given a CD of the VBS music?
No. All music will be available online for you to listen to or download. We will release the music as VBS gets closer.
Will pictures be taken of my child?
We will have a photographer take pictures during VBS. We capture these moments to share through our website, printed material, and social media. If you prefer NOT to have your child photographed for this purpose, please check the NO PHOTO box on the registration form.

Registration will be available starting March 1 and will remain open until Sunday, May 5 or until we register 400 kids.
Vacation Bible School Payment
Please make your VBS payment in the church office via cash or check. If you’d like to pay digitally, please use the PayPal option below. Remember, your VBS registration isn’t complete and your spot is not confirmed until you’ve filled out the registration form AND made your payment.
