Growing a Legacy of Faith

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

What is an Endowment?
The Zionsville United Methodist Church Endowment provides sustained support for many ministries. The original principal is invested and remains preserved while the interest money earned from the investment of the principal funds is used for designated ministries.

Why an Endowment?
Zionsville UMC has an endowment to:

  1. Provide sustained funding for important ministries.

  2. Support the financial future of ministries important to donors.

How are gifts invested?
Zionsville UMC’s Endowment Committee invests the donations with the Indiana United Methodist Church Foundation and uses the interest to fund designated ministries.
