The Church’s Library Story

“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.” —Proverbs 3:13-14

The church library was started in 2001 with a generous gift from the Granadillo family in memory of their daughter, Liz.

Barbara Granadillo, Helen Mills, and Ann Malarky spearheaded the transfer of material from the old church, cataloged new material, and designed the space, which now continues to be a living library space for all.

Over the years, the library has expanded to contain church reference material, small group studies, non-fiction, fiction, large print, young adult, and children's books, along with DVDs and CDs.

A small group of church members has continued to care for and expand the library over the years. If you have not visited your library yet, make time. Check out a book or two and discover another wonder hidden in your church, right outside the sanctuary.
