VBS 2026: Rainforest Falls

June 1-5, 2026 // Daily, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Rainforest Falls is an epic adventure for kids ages 4 - 6th grade. Get ready to trek into the heart of the jungle! This summer, our church is transforming into Rainforest Falls, a world of towering trees, rushing water, and exotic wildlife. Your kids will go on an unforgettable journey beneath the canopy, where they’ll hear the calls of the wild and explore the even greater wonders of God’s love. Through music, games, and hands-on fun, we’ll learn what it means to be rooted in a relationship with our Creator—finding a steady, safe place to grow no matter what storms life may bring.

How Do I Help With VBS?

There are several ways you can help with VBS!

  • Sign up to volunteer for the week (or part of the week)! We need all kinds of volunteers to make VBS happen - money counters, group leaders, people to answer questions for parents, snack helpers. 400+ kids takes HUGE amount of volunteers to keep up with them. One of the perks of volunteering is your kids get to come for only $10! You can register as a volunteer using this link: Volunteer Registration

  • Give a monetary donation.

  • Putting together VBS for this many kiddos requires a lot of people power but it also requires a lot of supplies. We’d love your help providing some of the supplies we need to make VBS happen. You can choose something from our Amazon Wishlist and it will ship right to the church! Amazon Wishlist

VBS Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. If you have 3 or more children the cost is $75.  PLEASE NOTE:  This discount only applies to 3 or more children from the same, immediate family.  This discount is not intended for daycares, friends and cousins, etc.

  • Yes.  We will be placing the children into groups based on their age/class group.

  • Due to the large number of children and the work entailed in putting them into groups, we are not able to accommodate special requests.  We will also not be able to switch your child’s group once it is assigned. We believe our program lends itself to the children meeting new friends.

  • Yes, we will have a daily snack.  Please list all allergies your child may have when you register him/her.  Please make sure they eat breakfast before they come.

  • Yes.  Each child and volunteer will receive a t-shirt. PLEASE NOTE: Last day to register to receive a t-shirt is Friday, May 8.

    The registration deadline is May 22; however, registration may close earlier if capacity is reached

  • Zionsville UMC has a wonderful, all day, summer program called ROCK.  The kids attending ROCK, attend VBS from 9:00 am – Noon and then carry on with their day. There are separate fees for attending ROCK, however, the VBS fee is waived. Find more information about ROCK through the ROCK Website: rockzumc.org

  • Of course! We need a host of volunteers for the week of the event, including setup and teardown days.  Also, if you serve 3+ days, your child’s fee is only $20 for the week.  Your volunteer form must be submitted to receive the discount. PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible for the discount, the volunteer MUST be an ADULT.

  • Yes, we will have free childcare for the children (Ages 3 and under) of volunteers on the days the volunteers serve. PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible for childcare, the volunteer MUST be an ADULT.

  • Yes! Each family will be given a take-home streaming card.

  • We will have a photographer take pictures during VBS.  We capture these moments to share through our website, printed material and social media.  If you prefer NOT to have your child photographed for this purpose, please check the NO PHOTO box on the registration form.

A small registration fee helps us cover materials and keep this event affordable for everyone. If cost is a concern, please reach out — we never want finances to be a barrier to participation.

Individual $35

Family (3 or more kids) $75

Adult Volunteers with children $20

  • Each participant will still receive:

  • Daily snacks

  • A family streaming download of VBS music

  • All the supplies needed for this enriching experience

  • A well-trained volunteer staff ready to make this the best VBS yet!

NOTE: Please note that the payment service provider will add a donation for them to your payment. You DO NOT have to pay this additional fee. Also, you can choose to pay via check or cash in the church office.
