Wide Open - August 16
As a capstone to their weekend retreat with us, Drs. Jack and Priscilla Pope Levison will lead us in worship. What sort of a church do we want to become? Huddled or hospitable? Fading or flourishing? Sleepy or Spirit-led? Of course, Zionsville United Methodist Church, we want to be hospitable, flourishing, and Spirit-led! So let’s take a few hours from our busy schedules to spend time with each other and our dynamic guests, Priscilla Pope-Levison and Jack Levison, professors at Southern Methodist University, who’ll offer us great teaching, practical strategies, and lots of interaction to become even more what we want Zionsville UMC to be—faithful individuals who come together as a Spirit-led community with the potential to transform our neighborhood—and world.

Do you have a memory connected to ZUMC – quiet moments and turning points, friendships formed, prayers answered? Maybe it's a moment that shaped your faith, a friendship that started here, or a season when this church showed up for you. We want to gather those stories. Most stories shared will become written devotions, featured after Pastor Dave returns from sabbatical. A few will also be recorded for a celebration video as part of our anniversary worship service. Each morning, we share a brief reflection rooted in Scripture and designed to help you connect the ancient truths of the Bible to the modern world we navigate every day. Whether we are walking through a specific book of the Gospel or exploring themes from our current sermon series, our goal is to provide a moment of peace, perspective, and prayer to start your day.
