Alpha is a time where you can explore life's biggest questions in an intimate, relational atmosphere. It features a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, run over eleven weeks. Each session features a free meal shared together around tables, a talk exploring different questions around faith, and a time for small group discussion.
During the conversation, you'll have the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything. And there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
Alpha has been run all around the globe and is designed to be a place where everyone is welcome. You don't have to come with all the questions because it is really about exploring.
The adventurer and TV personality, Bear Grylls said, "Alpha was the best thing I ever did. It helped answer some huge questions and to find a simple empowering faith in my life."
Please join us for our Alpha course run in partnership between Rooted and Zionsville UMC, beginning Wednesday, February 28th, from 6-8 PM at Zionsville UMC, 9644 Whitestown Road, Zionsville.
When you arrive, signs will direct you to the chapel on the east side of the building. Both dinner and childcare are provided free of charge. The only thing you need to bring is your questions and a friend.
