The Habitat house that many ZUMC friends have helped build is complete! The new family will take possession on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 2:00pm.If you've never experienced the joy of a family taking possession of the home for which they have worked so hard, it is an extraordinary experience.
Please consider this appeal with an open heart: At this point the family could use some help for the storage shed and some tools. You can help 1 of 2 ways:

1.Consider a donation of $10or $20 to defray the shed costs.Simply send a check to the church office and note "Habitat shed".If you'd like to send more, please do.
2.Donated gently used and workable household tools. The family could use:

Spade, Leaf rake, Dirt rake, Broom, Trowel, Snow shovel, Push mower,
Rack/organizer, Lock

To donate these, please contact Tyrone Edens His email address is ty_edens@att.nethis cell phone is 332-7584.
