 “Cozy Coats and Toasty Toes Winter Coat and Boot Drive”Sundays Oct 18 & 25 we will be collecting coats and boots to help our mission partners. All sizes welcome - kids to adults. Please place in the bins at the East & West ends of the church. Don’t throw away that older coat or those boots that don’t fit. We thank you in advance for donating them to this very worthy cause. After much discussion and prayer, the Children’s Ministry Team leadership has decided to cancel the upcoming Fall Fellowship program scheduled for October 10.

The Children’s Ministry Team, recognizing the current budget shortfall of the church, and lack of volunteers for this event, has decided, after much discussion and prayer, to cancel the upcoming Fall Fellowship program, which was originally planned for the afternoon and evening of October 10th. During this time of stewardship, we respectfully ask each member of our church family to review their commitment to uphold this congregation and its ministries with your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.  Senior Adult Ministry: October 8 - SAM their monthly schedule by taking a trip to the Dillman Farms, known for their fruit butters, jellies and preserves. We will have lunch at the Golden Coral. You will be responsible for your own lunch. After lunch we are scheduled to tour the Textillery Weavers. We will meet at the church at 7:45AM and leave at 8:00AM. Send or callyour reservation. Connection Core is about the ZUMC mission statement "Lifting the human spirit to be touched by the Holy Spirit". better way to lift the human spirit then to continue the warm greetings received at the East and West doors each Sunday! Connection Core group will continue the warm welcome when you enter the Narthex area and proceed to the Sanctuary. want everyone to feel that they are connected to ZUMC by sharing the core of Christ's Love with them. purpose is not to pester you, or ask you to sign up for anything, but in a simple manner be a warm caring presence before and after the service. Look for this group of volunteers to be circulating before and after the 9:00am and 11:15am services, wearing lanyards, nametags, and smiles --- eager to say hello, and wish you a very happy day!
