Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:15-17 (NIV)It is very easy to ask the Lord to care for children around the world in poverty, bondage, orphanages and other hopeless situations, and we should be praying for them. But Jesus asks us to love others by clothing them, caring for them and nurturing them. Did you know you can make a huge impact on the lives of children in poverty by being a child advocate? By reaching out and teaching others about the issues facing these millions of children in poverty, you can make more of a difference than you will ever know! Visit compassion.com/you can today to learn more about the children's plight and what you can do to get involved from your own home.
