ZUMC has been a major sponsor of the Indy Metro CROP walk for many years, but are hoping that, by creating a local walk, more individuals will be able to participate. As you know, Sue Forry, our Church Administrator of 20 years will retire July 1st. A reception will be held in her honor on Sunday June 14th between the morning services. Sunday afternoon, June 14, at Zionsville Golf Course. The schedule for the golf outing is as follows: 1-1:45 p.m. Registration; 1:45 p.m. Prayer and outing instructions; 2 p.m. Tee-off (shotgun if we have enough golfers to close the course. NEW College Ministry - "The Bridge" forming this summer! All college students are invited to join us for Bible study, food and fellowship on Wednesday nights from 7 - 9 pm this summer! We will kick it off June 10 with a pool party at the Snider's pool (7466 Fox Hollow Ridge). Regular meetings will be held at Jim & Laura Miller's home in Spring Knoll (9591 Greenthread Dr). Help Serve the Homeless: It is time once again, to welcome homeless families into our church for a week, and provide a safe place to come to at night for the week beginning Sunday June 7-14th. Volunteers are needed to stay with overnight guests, provide food, drive a van to and from the Day Center in downtown Indianapolis, or to be available after dinner for activities or homework help. If you are interested in volunteering your time for any of these activities or to give a donation, please call Suzy Herring at 873.5505.
