Thursday April 8th – Altum’s Garden Center - Join us at 9:30AM while we try something different. We are going to have a catered breakfast, not lunch. Eggs, bacon, sausage, everything we are not suppose to eat! We will meet in the Cafe' at 9:30AM and eat at 9:45AM. Breakfast will be followed by “April Flowers” a springtime flower and shrub presentation by Altum’s Nursery. Are you ready for something new? Join us on April 8th for a great time. The annual Easter Party for the children of Coburn Place!
Our ZUMC family will sponsor this celebration on Wed, March 24, from 6-7:30pm at Coburn Place. Coburn Place is a safe haven for women and children who are fleeing abusive situations. Volunteers are needed to help prepare for and host the Easter Party. Children are welcome to attend. We will need cookie bakers prior to the party. The gentlemen from the Ohio Northern University Men’s Choir in Ada, Ohio, will be coming to ZUMC for a performance on Thursday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. The Men’s Choir is on a 5-day tour of Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri and we are happy to welcome them back to Zionsville! It was a delightful evening of song when they were here two years ago, and we look forward to welcoming them with a big crowd again this year!Please plan to attend this freewill concert Thursday evening at 7:30p.m. It will be an evening filled with wonderful music including classical selections to lively popular tunes. This is a concert you don’t want to miss!

This is the year for a local Lenten drive! We are excited to announce Love INC Boone County as our Lenten Drive for 2010. Love INC brings Christian churches together to help the poor by meeting immediate needs such as food and clothing, to longer-term responses through relational ministries such as life skills training and transitional housing. Each Sunday we will tell you more of what this mission is about and what it does for people in need of Boone County. Please pick up your envelope in the Narthex. We will be collecting thru April 25.
