If I decide I want to become a member, how do I do it?
Individuals who wish to join a United Methodist Church are baptized and confirmed into the life and ministry of the church of Jesus Christ. Adults and older teens who desire membership at ZUMC participate in “Together in Christ.” This is a two week class (3 hours each). The class is an interactive and lively exploration in the Christian faith and the life and ministry of Zionsville United Methodist Church. Here you are invited to discover the path to becoming a more fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Together In Christ is the right place to find answers to the many questions you may have. Meet together with others who have similar questions and learn together in an informal, relaxed setting. Classes are scheduled regularly throughout the year. Then, if you choose to become a member, you and others from the class will be received during a Sunday morning worship service. Contact Holly Waidelich for more information.
