- Alter guild - assists with decorating for the holidays
- Communion stewards -assists with preparing communion elements
- Communion servers - schedule persons to assist with serving the elements
- Acolytes/Bible, cross carriers - children K-7th @ the 11:15 service
- Greeters - help open doors and welcome all with a smile
- Ushers - hand out bulletins and assist members on Sunday mornings
- Tech support - help lend a hand running computer projection and lights during worship
MUSIC
Music abounds at ZUMC and we encourage you to take part in the many options offered. Look over these choices and share your talent with ZUMC...no need to read music to join!
- Praise Team - come join this group in the loft during worship @ 9:00 – practice at 8:00 on Sunday mornings
- Celebration Singers - contemporary choir meets Wed. evenings 6:30-8:00 (this team also travels to nursing homes to share their music)
- Singing Church Ladies - contemporary singing group meets Wed. @ 5:15 pm
- Chancel Choir -mixed group rehearses Thurs. @ 7pm or Sun. @ 9:30 am (singing at the 11:15 traditional service)
- Youth Choir- grades 7-12 rehearsal on Sundays @ 4:30
- Children’s Choir - grades K-6th on Sundays@ 3:15
- Christmas Musical - performed annually during the Christmas season
- Handbells - be a part of this group, no experience necessary
