Event Planning Request Guidelines

By submitting an Event Planning Request Form online you agree to the following guidelines.  Please print this document as a reference.  Thank you!

 

General Guidelines: You will be responsible for setup and clean up and return the room(s) to the original arrangement.

Smoking is not permitted in the building.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the grounds or in the building.

Technical Guidelines: If Technical assistance (sound, video or lighting) is required in the Sanctuary or Chapel for your event, the Event Planning Request Form will be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.

Childcare Guidelines: If Childcare is needed, the Event Planning Request Form will be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.  A Childcare Form must be completed ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to request form.)

Kitchen Guidelines:  All kitchen cleanups and dishwashing are the responsibility of the grou using the kitchen.  Please leave kitchen clean and ready for the next function.  No dishes, pots, pans, utensils or dishtowels left our to dry.

Please wash all counter tops with soap and water.

All special kitchen items needed for an event should be provided by the organizer.  This includes table coverings, special bowls, center pieces, etc.

Please label all food items with event and date.  Anything that is not labeled or dated may be periodically thrown away if left behind after the event.

If food is served, please take your trash to the dumpster located at the Northeast corner of the church building behind the white chain link fence.  Please DO NOT leave any food or trash in the kitchen or meeting rooms.

Event Promotion:  Any event poster advertising will be displayed for 3 weeks on hallway counters, up to 8 bulletin boards (4 in adult ed. rooms and 3 large in hallway and entrances) and on hallway powerpoint.

Any event advertising for Bulletin and Messenger must be submitted 4-6 weeks prior to event to ensure maximum exposure.
