In the last decade over a million persons have taken Disciple through United Methodist Churches around the world. ZUMC is pleased to host the full curriculum of Disciple. Classes form each September and conclude in the spring. The only cost is for the printed material. Reel to Real (Movie Club) Hospitality/Bride's Room

Each month this summer we are recommending a family movie for you to view prior to the class discussion date. Join us on the fourth Sunday of each month to discuss the spiritual implications from these movies.

July 27 - "Radio" - Based on the true story of a high school football coach and his relationship with a developmentally challenged boy named Radio. This movie demonstrates the power of one life, even a life that is not considered valuable by some.

August 24 - "Facing the Giants" - "What happens when a person refuses to focus on the seemingly  unconquerable giants in his or her life and focuses instead on the almighty God who does whatever pleases?

July & August Room C-112TWELVE STEP BIBLE STUDY

Pastor Linda Johnson will lead a Bible study based on the Twelve Steps. The purpose of a 12 Step Bible study is to enter into the process of becoming more like Christ and also to increase our fellowship with God. We do

this by becoming open and transparent with God, ourselves and others; allowing the Lord to "brick by brick" remove the walls that would try and separate us, not only from God, but from ourselves and others as well. Every Christian can benefit from following the 12 Steps. This group is open to anyone interested. This is a study that will take us into the Scriptures for some in-depth discussion. All study material will be provided.
